We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to build, scale and optimize the internal platforms, backend services, infrastructure and workflows that power business operations and AI-driven systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend architecture, scalability, platform reliability and AI-native engineering, with a proven ability to take end-to-end ownership in fast-growing startup environments.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and scale platform services, internal tools and backend systems.

Own platform features end-to-end, from architecture and development to production deployment.

Develop reliable APIs, scalable backend services and efficient system workflows.

Design and optimize databases, data models, queries and backend performance.

Improve platform reliability, scalability, security and overall system performance.

Enhance developer experience by improving engineering tools, workflows and infrastructure.

Make practical architectural decisions while balancing speed, quality, maintainability and scalability.

Troubleshoot production issues, identify bottlenecks and implement long-term solutions.

Leverage AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or similar technologies in daily engineering workflows.

Collaborate with product, operations and engineering teams to build reliable platform solutions that support business growth.

🎯 Eligibility & Experience

4+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and backend development.

Proven expertise in backend architecture, scalable systems, REST APIs and relational databases.

Experience with PostgreSQL or similar database technologies and AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.

Experience building and scaling production systems in fast-growing startup environments.

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of platform components from design to deployment.

An AI-native mindset with practical experience using AI-powered coding tools.

Strong problem-solving skills, independent decision-making, and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.

⭐ Nice to Have

Experience with NestJS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps.

Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, and workflow automation systems.

Exposure to AI-powered infrastructure and data-intensive systems.

Experience improving platform architecture and engineering processes as an organization scales.

Familiarity with monitoring, observability, incident troubleshooting, and system reliability.
