About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to contribute to AI Training, Model Evaluation and Data Science projects on a remote, hourly-paid freelance basis.

In this role, you will review AI-generated analytical reasoning, Python code, statistical analysis, machine learning solutions and model outputs. You will evaluate responses for accuracy, methodology, clarity and relevance, identify errors, fact-check quantitative claims and create high-quality reference solutions and step-by-step explanations.

Your expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Python, SQL and Model Evaluation will help improve the quality, accuracy and reasoning capabilities of advanced AI models.

Key Responsibilities
Review and evaluate AI-generated Data Science and Machine Learning responses.
Analyze AI-generated Python code, statistical reasoning, analytical approaches and model outputs.
Identify errors in methodology, statistical reasoning, data analysis, modeling and machine learning techniques.
Fact-check quantitative claims, calculations, statistical interpretations and analytical conclusions.
Create high-quality AI Training Content, prompts, reference answers, solutions and explanations.
Develop detailed prompts covering Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Python, SQL and analytical problem-solving.
Write clear, structured, and step-by-step explanations demonstrating correct analytical methods.
Evaluate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness, reasoning quality, relevance, clarity and adherence to instructions.
Assess Machine Learning Models for accuracy, reliability and appropriate methodology.
Validate AI-generated solutions across different Data Science and Machine Learning use cases.
Identify potential inaccuracies, inconsistencies, biases and reasoning errors in AI-generated outputs.
Apply strong quality assurance, reproducibility and analytical evaluation practices.
Provide detailed feedback to improve AI model performance, accuracy, fluency and contextual relevance.
Review and evaluate data visualization, analytical findings, and quantitative interpretations where applicable.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field.
5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a closely related analytical role.
Strong experience working on end-to-end Machine Learning projects.
Advanced proficiency in Python for Data Analysis and Machine Learning.
Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn and related Python libraries.
Strong understanding of Statistics, Applied Probability, Experimental Design and Statistical Analysis.
Experience designing, analyzing and interpreting controlled experiments and A/B tests.
Hands-on experience building, evaluating and deploying Machine Learning Models in real-world business or product environments.
Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.
Strong understanding of Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Predictive Modeling and Model Evaluation.
Experience with Data Visualization tools, dashboards and analytical reporting.
Minimum C1 English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Ability to communicate complex quantitative and analytical concepts clearly in English.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality, consistency and reproducibility.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in AI Training, AI Data Annotation, AI Evaluation, LLM Evaluation or AI-generated content review.
Experience evaluating AI-generated analytical reasoning and technical responses.
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI and AI Model Evaluation.
Experience creating AI training datasets, prompts, reference solutions and evaluation criteria.
Experience in Research, Data Analytics, Statistical Modeling or Applied Machine Learning.
